Is this Safeguard Warranty right for me?
If you are concerned that any of the covered components detailed in the PDS may experience sudden and unforeseen failure, then this policy may appeal to you. Please note that there is an extensive list of policy exclusions outlined on page 9 of the PDS which may impact your ability to claim.
This flexible policy meets you where you are by offering 12, 24, 36 or 60 month terms on the Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum Plan.
What is covered?
Condenser, Evaporator and Compressor. (Specifically excluding gas, leakages, pipes, hoses, thermostat, receiver dryer and TX valves)
Cover up to $1750 on Platinum Plan
Booster and Brake Callipers, Master Cylinder. (Specifically excluding brake pads or linings, service items and disc rotors.)
Cover up to $1750 on Platinum Plan
Slave Cylinder, Master Cylinder (specifically excluding clutch plate)
Cover up to $1750 on Platinum Plan
Cooling Fan, Water Pump, thermostat (impeller shaft bearings, bushes,) (specifically excluding any damage caused by collision or the result of road surface projectiles).
Cover up to $1750 on Platinum Plan
(Specifically excluding CV dust boot).
Cover up to $1750 on Platinum Plan
Cylinder Heads, Valves and Lash Adjusters. – If no evidence of overheating or corrosion.

Alternator, Starter Motor, Voltage Regulator, Windscreen Wiper motor.

Ignition module, Ignition coil, Crank angle sensor, Oxygen Sensor, Hall Effect Sensor, Cam Position Sensor , Knock Sensor, DFI Module. (Specifically excluding service items)

Engine Block (if damaged by internal components), Oil Pump, Pistons, Piston Rings, Crankshaft and Meshing Timing Gears, Crankshaft Bearings and Camshaft Bearings, Cylinder Wrist Pins, Camshaft and Camshaft Gears, Internal Bushings, Connecting Rods, Balance Shaft and Bearings.
Cylinder Head gaskets are only covered when repairs are carried out on the components listed in this subsection. (Specifically excludes Variable Valve Timing Components)

Electrical and Mechanical Fuel pump, Fuel Pressure Regulator, Diesel Injector Pump, Air Flow Meter, carburettor, fuel
injectors (Specifically excluding injection service items.)

Engine Cooling Radiator (specifically excluding damage by impact, corrosion and blockages).

Rack and Pinion, Power Steering Pump, Steering Box. (Specifically excludes Rack Ends and Rack Boots)

The internal lubricated parts of both manual and automatic transmissions. (Specifically excluding transfer cases, selespeed motors and worn converter clutches.)

This cover only applies to factory fitted Turbochargers.

It has a full service history from your approved car manufacturer dealership
